This morning's Washington Post Express has a photo of the three members of the Duke Lacrosse Team who have been cleared of all charges. Yea! Rah!

I couldn't help but notice that one of the players seemed especially happy at the news.

Last night I went to see the movie 300, based on the Frank Miller graphic novel. Oh gods! It is wonderful - raucous, violent, and so many hunky men!!!

Just as the cherry blossoms erupt around the Tidal Basin, Spring has finally returned to the nation's capital.

My life is so compartmentalized that I forget about this little blog and have added nothing to it. Meanwhile - my professional blog is growing regularly. Of course, I have no indication that anyone has ever read any of my postings. I take that back - I have had a couple of comments to my professional blog.

But let me get started once again on this blog. I'm so happy that Spring is here! As much as I love Winter - I was ready for warmth and color again!

A Room with a Window

It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started.

During a visit to a mental hospital, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a person should be admitted.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a room with a window?"
